Carola Spadoni
Carola Spadoni, filmmaker con incursioni nel mondo delle arti visive, si trasferisce da Roma a New York dove studia cinema al Brooklyn College e lavora in numerose produzioni indipendenti. Ha partecipato a vari festival internazionali, rassegne di cinema e video e mostre in gallerie e centri d'arte. Nel 2001 il lungometraggio Giravolte è in competizione internazionale al festival di Torino Cinema Giovani, poi all’International Forum of New Cinema della 52a Berlinale e al Chicago Filmfestival. Vincitrice del Premio Giovane Arte Italiana 2003, espone alla 50a Biennale d’Arte di Venezia l’opera Dio è morto, mise en espace di cinema, che entra a far parte della collezione permanente del MAXXI Arte di Roma. Nel 2004 è direttore della fotografia e co-regista del music video All Lifestyles per i Beastie Boys.
Carola Spadoni, filmmaker with incursions into the visual art world, travels between Rome and New York where she studies cinema at Brooklyn College and works on a number of independent productions. She has participated in a number of international festivals, cinema and video reviews and exhibitions in galleries and art centers. In 2001 the feature film Giravolte was in competition at the Turin Young Cinema festival, the International Forum of New Cinema at the 52nd Berlinale and the Chicago Filmfestival. Winner of the Premio Giovane Arte Italiana 2003. At the 50th Venice Biennaleshwe showed her work God is Dead, a play in cinematic space, chosen to be part of the permanent collection at MAXXI Arte in Rome. In 2004 she was director of photography and co-director of the music video All Lifestyles for the Beastie Boys.
