Tim Etchells è scrittore e direttore artistico del gruppo di artisti inglesi Forced Entertainment, basati a Sheffield (UK) dal 1984. La sua scrittura, comica, fastidiosa e spietata, mostra il mondo contemporaneo in modo cinico e brillante. Oltre la regia di tutti i lavori di F.E. ha pubblicato The Dream Dictionary (for the Modern Dreamer) una guida indispensabile per i sognatori moderni, Endland Stories un serie di brevi fiction dai toni comici e brutali e Certain Fragments antologia di scritti sulla performance.

Tim Etchells is the award-winning artistic director and writer behind Forced Entertainment. Renowned for his comical, disturbing and ruthless take on the contemporary world Etchells, has published three main works: The Dream Dictionary (for the Modern Dreamer), an indispensable guide for modern dreamers everywhere, Endland Stories, a brutal and comical collection of short fiction, and Certain Fragments, a unique collection of writings for and about performance.
Forced Entertainment an ensemble of artists based in Sheffield (UK) since 1984, they have created a significant body of work that is challenging and innovative. Their projects span theatre, durational performance, installation, video, exhibition and digital and broadcast media.
