Thomas Lehmen
Thomas Lehmen, coreografo, danzatore e performer tedesco si muove tra danza, performance e riflessione critica. Il suo lavoro indaga il corpo in relazione alle strutture e ai sistemi sociali. Interessato a progetti di cooperazione artistica, dopo gli studi alla School for New Dance Developement di Amsterdam, è stato artist-in-residence al Podewil/TanzWerkstatt Berlin nel 2000, e ha fatto parte della nuova scena coreografica berlinese nata in quegli anni. Con il testo coreografico per liberi interpreti Schreibstuck (2002) ha messo in rilievo una serie di questioni sul ruolo dell' autore, sulla natura della ripetizione e sull'identità. Tra gli altri lavori: Stationen (2003), Funktionen (2004), In all languages (2006) accompagnati da pubblicazioni. Heromatic è la nuova produzione.
Thomas Lehmen, german choreographer, dancer and performer, works in the areas between dance, philosophy and performance. His work explores performance, structures and social systems. After studying at the School for New Dance Developement in Amsterdam,he has been artist-in-residence al Podewil/TanzWerkstatt Berlin in 2000. With his choreographical text for free interpreters Schreibstuck (2002) he brought to the surface a variety of questions about authorship, the nature of repetition, and identity. Other main works include Stationen (2003), Funktionen (2004), In all languages (2006) which have accompanying publications. Heromatic is his new production.
