Everyday Nothing di Sun Wu-Kung e Compl8 nasce come commissione di Xing per il progetto Italian Landscapes - lounge theatre: un dispositivo legato alla visione e all’ascolto, con tre grandi quadri di immagini sonorizzati dal vivo.

Gli accadimenti che determinano la trasformazione dell'ambiente che ci circonda sono impercettibili. Nascosti agli occhi degli altri, i piccoli gesti e visioni dei singoli sono racchiusi in istanti frammentati e lentamente agiscono sul quotidiano. Senza eventi eclatanti. Ognuno con il proprio universo. Lo spazio e il tempo sono differenti per tutti.  
Captare e trascrivere ciascuno di questi mondi sarebbe impossibile. Eppure è li, in quello spettro non registrabile né radiografabile, che senza tregua avviene l'evoluzione (o l'involuzione) del paesaggio delle città. Tramite complessi e brutali macchinari, Sun Wu-Kung e Compl8 sono riusciti ad intercettare spezzoni di alcuni di questi ‘multiversi’. Con minuzioso lavoro e grazie all'aiuto di scienziati brillanti è stata ricostruita una parte di questa enigmatica realtà.

Everyday Nothing by Sun Wu-Kung and Compl8, commissioned by Xing for the project Italian Landscapes - lounge theatre, is a live event based on vision and sound: a screening set of three large images in parallel, with a live soundtrack.

The events bringing about the transformation of the environment that surrounds us are imperceptible. Hidden from anybody else’s eyes, the trifles and visions of individuals are contained in unfinished instants and these slowly affect daily life. Despite without climactic events. Each one with his own universe. Space and time are different for everyone. To pick up and to record each one of these worlds would be impossible.
 And yet it is there, in that unrecordable and unradiographable spectrum, that the evolution (or the involution) of the landscape of the cities takes place ceaselessly. The sceneries undergo change with each individual glance.       (Jonas Coshto Introduction to the Invisible)

By means of complicated and raw machineries, Sun Wu-Kung and Compl8 have been able to intercept some segments of a part of these ‘multiverses’. A fragment of this enigmatic reality has been reconstructed with scrupulous work and thanks to the help of brilliant men of science.
