A Mente Certa è il nuovo live audio visuale del duo portoghese Tropa Macaca, che debutta a Live Arts Week 2016, dedicato al ruolo della seduzione come parte ineliminabile dell'arte e della vita. Una tecno-ballata inseparabile dalla sua controparte videografica. La musica dei Tropa Macaca è il frutto della soggettività di una coppia. "Amare è sperimentare e problematizzare, è qualcosa che fai tra le altre cose, negli interstizi tra il vedere, il parlare e l'agire. In quanto incarnazione individuale, opposta a quella universale, appartiene al regno della natura, relegata ai margini del sapere e dal potere a un tale punto che la scienza non è in grado di riconoscerla."

A Mente Certa is the new audio-visual performance by the Portuguese duo Tropa Macaca, to be premiered at Live Arts Week 2016. Following their lo-fi ambient-noise inclination, the piece was inspired by the notion of how sincerity and authenticity are at stake in seduction, an indelible part of art and life. A techno balladry indivisible from a videographic ballet. The music of Tropa Macaca is the fruit of the subjectivity of a couple. "To love is to experiment, to problematize, to make something in the interstice or in the disjunction of the seeing, the talking and the making. The singular and specific love, as opposed to the universal one, belongs to the domain of the wild, rejected by knowledge and power and pushed to the margins, so much so that science can’t recognize it."
