Hype Williams è un collettivo artistico che nasce a Londra da un misterioso 'passaggio di consegne'. Tale Denna Frances, personaggio che ancora oggi non si sa se esista realmente, avrebbe consegnato nelle braccia di Dean Blunt e Inga Copeland il brief per costituire il duo musicale. Intenti nebulosi e vicende rocambolesche: non gli piacciono i boschi, non gli piace la musica sperimentale e se suona un po' lo-fi è perché non aveva i soldi per un equipaggiamento migliore.
