Paola Stella Minni, performer e danzatrice basata a Bologna. Si laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione e Dams tra l'università di Bologna e Paris 8. Frequenta il corso biennale di creazione coreografica PEPCC a Lisbona al Forum Dança/network départs studiando, tra gli altri, con Steve Paxton, Lisa Nelson, Meg Stuart, Vera Mantero, Loic Touzè, Cristina Rizzo. A Lisbona crea i soli Outspoken, brush and sometimes out of control (mentoring di Vera Mantero) e A Dance For #1. In Italia ha lavorato con Cristina Rizzo, Motus, Michele Di Stefano, Fiorenza Menni/Teatrino Clandestino, Anna Albertarelli, Francesca Burzacchini, Societas Raffaello Sanzio. Collabora dal 2010 con Cristina Addis con la quale fonda assieme ad altri performer dell'area bolognese la zona di ricerca can-I. Creano assieme le performance Mappature Anatomiche (2010), Visitors (2013), Today is a sunny day (2013), Appunti sparsi per un Ninfale low-fi (2013), Huhuu (2014). Nel 2015 crea con Glen Caci KK, e  vita a PuroEsterno con Irene Liverani. Assieme all’astrologo Nicola Baruzzi, PuroEsterno inaugura un progetto performativo trentennale dal titolo Astrodance. Nel 2015 è selezionata per il master in coreografia Exerce, diretto da Christian Rizzo, presso il CND di Montpellier.

Paola Stella Minni started performing in highschool with a indipendent group of broadway musicaltheater, she decided she wanted to become a ballerina and studied modernjazz, ballet, hip hop. Then, she accidentaly fell into the off off off scene. She studied philosophy, dance & theatre studies AT DAMS/ Bologna University and Paris 8 Université. Her theoretical research has been strongly influenced by the french school, in particular by the professor and rolfer Hubert Godard. She had an indipendent education in contemporary dance, improvisation and voice research through classes, seminars and workshops, influenced by an anarchic practice of somatic technics. In 2010 she attends the two years Choreographic and Dance Research program PEPCC in Lisbon (Forum Dança). There she starts her own artistic research and creates the solos Outspoken (coached by Vera Mantero) and A Dance For #1 (coached by Loic Touzé). She has worked as freelance performer for the choreographers and theater companies.: Cristina Rizzo (HAHA, No tengo dinero), Motus (Nella tempesta), Michele di Stefano (Impressions d’afrique, Clima, Academy Awards), Fiorenza Menni/Teatrino Clandestino (Open Option), Romeo Castellucci (Uso Umano di Esseri Umani, Giudizio Possibilità Essere), Jérôme Bel (Compito 2,  Biennale Danza Venezia 2014), Accademia degli Artefatti (Nollywood). In 2015 she collaborates with the choreographer Glen Caci for the piece KK. Founder of can-I since 2009, with Cristina Addis she creates:  Mappature Anatomiche (2010), Visitors (2013), Today is a sunny day (2013), Appunti sparsi per un Ninfale low-fi (2013), Huhuhu (2014). In 2015 she co-founds PuroEsterno with Irene Liverani and starts several new collaborations. PuroEsterno’s first work is Astrodance. In 2015 she attends the two years master Exerce, directed by Christian Rizzo in Montpellier (Cnd, université Paul Valery).
