Claudia Triozzi
Claudia Triozzi danzatrice coreografa, performer, artista visiva. Dopo gli studi di danza in Italia si trasferisce a Parigi nel 1985 attratta dall'effervescenza della scena coreografica francese. E' stata interprete di coreografie di Odile Duboc, Georges Appaix, François Verret, e ha collaborato fra gli altri con Alain Buffard, Xavier Leroy e Xavier Boussiron. Sin dalle sue prime creazioni in solo ha lavorato su spazi e formati non convenzionali. Triozzi produce spettacoli inclassificabili da cui la danza non esce mai indenne. Collage poetici d'oggetti eterocliti, i suoi progetti mettono in questione lo spazio della rappresentazione e decostruiscono le modalità d'interpretazione proprie del danzatore. Triozzi esplora anche la voce passando dalla scrittura di testi e canzoni, e sviluppando sonorità e un vocabolario lirico-rumorista con riferimenti che spaziano dal cinema al teatro alla radiofonia. Il suo lavoro si articola sia sulla scena che con installazioni e video esposti in musei e gallerie tra cui Museum Kunst Palast Düsseldorf, Biennale d’art Contemporain de Lyon, Studio National des arts contemporains Le Fresnoy, Galerie Maisonneuve Paris, Le Printemps de Toulouse, Biennale d’art Contemporain de Rennes. Ha presentato i suoi spettacoli in Europa, Stati Uniti e Giappone, dove è stata borsista dell'AFAA a Villa Kujoyama, hors les murs nel 2004. Il centro di produzione belga Victoria le ha commissionato una coreografia per Night Shade, e per le Vif du Sujet Montpellier Danse 06 ha creato La baronne et son tourment per il danzatore hip-hop Gabin Nuissier. Dal 1988 ha sviluppato una pedagogia legata al suo lavoro intervenendo in varie scuole d'arte, e dal 2006 insegna a l’école supérieure d’Art de Rueil Malmaison.
Claudia Triozzi dancer choreographer, performer, visual artist. After pursuing her dance studies in Italy, she moved to Paris in 1985. In addition to her work as a performer with Odile Duboc, Georges Appaix, François Verret, Alain Buffard, Xavier Leroy and Xavier Boussiron, she creates iconoclastic pieces from which dance never comes out unscathed. Claudia Triozzi always sets herself the task of putting preconceived ideas one might have regarding choreographic pieces into question. From piece to piece, from exhibition space to theatre stage, she pushes back the limits of the body and the spaces of visibility reserved for the dancer. Since 2002 she has been exploring voice work by passing through experiences of writing texts and songs. She develops sound qualities consisting of a vocabulary of noises albeit lyrical, in which the voice draws inspiration from the cinema, the theatre and radio. Her work has been developing on stage, on video or through installations, exhibited in museums or in galleries: Museum Kunst Palast Düsseldorf, Biennale d’art Contemporain de Lyon, Studio National des arts contemporains Le Fresnoy, Galerie Maisonneuve Paris, Le Printemps de Toulouse, Biennale d’art Contemporain de Rennes. She participated in the project Night Shade, a command by Victoria, composed La baronne et son tourments for Gabin Nuissier (a hip hop dancer) as part of Le Vif du Sujet-Montpellier Danse 06.
